After recent events, it's no wonder that anxiety is at an all time high.
As a parent it is so tough to see your child struggle and feeling worried and fearful all the time.
Let's face it, they don't come with a manual telling us how to deal with this stuff.
Does your child:
# call themselves stupid and useless?
# have regular meltdowns?
# try every trick in the book to avoid bedtime?
# not want to go to school most mornings?
# miss out on parties and sleepovers because they feel anxious?
Are you:
# worried about your child's mental health now or in the future?
# stuck on a never ending waiting list for support?
# struggling to get the support you need because things 'aren't bad enough'?
# exhausted from bedtime battles that leave you no time for yourself?
# dreading mornings because you know it will be one more long battle just to get to school on time
# and you'll probably be late for work AGAIN?
# left feeling like you're a bad parent?
# wishing you could just have a break from the kids sometimes?
If you can answer yes to any of these questions, it really doesn't make you a bad parent.
It makes you NORMAL.

What have you got to lose?
I am passionate about early intervention for mental health. I recently grew increasingly frustrated with the barriers to care and ever-growing waiting times faced by families in need of support. This resulted in me leaving Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) to start my business ThinkWise Psychological Wellbeing.
My aim is to make early help accessible and affordable for as many people as possible to help them gain back control of their mental health for the calmer and happier life they deserve.
Specialising in an innovative parent-led approach, I help mums and dads better support their anxious children and remove the heart wrenching distress that parents feel when they don’t know how to help their child. After all, they don’t come with a manual and there is nothing worse than seeing your child struggle and not knowing what to do to take that struggle away.
I will expertly guide you through a highly effective programme using proven strategies that have had amazing results time after time with hundreds of families.
I have a psychology degree, certificate in coaching and a postgraduate certificate in low intensity psychological interventions (camhs).
Along with a portfolio of additional qualifications I also have a wealth of both personal and professional experience. More than anything, I also bring a warm and non-judgmental approach to mental health support that makes it easy to believe that you are in good hands.
When I am not helping young people and their families I can usually be found enjoying cooking or baking for own own family and walking my 2 beloved pugalier puppies.
