What people say

Suzie Grazier

I am passionate about early intervention for mental health. I worked in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) for a number of years after qualifying as a children's psychological wellbeing practitioner. I started my business ThinkWise after growing frustrated with the barriers to care and ever-growing waiting times faced by families in need of support. My aim is to make early help accessible and affordable for as many people as possible to help them gain back control of their mental health for the calmer and happier life they deserve.

Specialising in an innovative parent-led approach, I help mums and dads to better support their anxious children and remove the heart wrenching distress that parents feel when they don’t know how to help their child. After all, they don’t come with a manual and there is nothing worse than seeing your child struggle and not knowing what to do to take that struggle away. I will expertly guide you through a highly effective programme using proven strategies that have had amazing results time after time.

I don't just have an impressive academic background with both personal and professional experience. More than anything, I like to bring a warm and non-judgmental approach to mental health support that makes it easy to believe you are in good hands.

When I'm not helping young people and their families I can usually be found enjoying cooking or baking for my own family and walking my 2 beloved pugaliers Chester and Charlie.

FAQs

Who is this course for?

This course is for parents of anxious children of primary school age. The early you can begin using these strategies the better. That said, they can work equally as well with teenagers, it just might be a little harder and you'll need to tailor it to suit your individual child.

Can my child watch it too?

Absolutely! There is no content that would not be suitable for young people but I would recommend that you watch it first and use your own judgement about whether your child would understand it and find it helpful.

How can I get more help?

There are a number of options to get more help. Included with your workshop there is a list of further useful resources to support your learning. There is also a forum included in your course area where you can ask questions and chat. When you checkout you also have the option of including a discounted one to one power hour with Suzie.

I've tried everything, will this work?

This isn't a magic, quick fix. It takes time and practice but if you use these strategies consistently, they are super effective. Although the strategies are simple, they are far from easy and may at times challenge you because it feels like they go against your instincts.  Checkout the testimonials for what people have said.
